Located
near the top of a gorgeous hilltown, this high natural
balcony provides extensive panoramas over the unmistakeable
Marche
landscape, picturesque rolling hills adorned with little
medieval towns. To the west are the stunning
Sibillini
Mountains
and, on a clear day, you can see the sea and the mountains
of Abruzzo. The town, dominated by an impressive ancient
castle and high tower which can be seen for miles around.
Casa pettirosso is set off a little piazza in the historic
centre of the town where there is a baker, grocer, chemist,
post office and bar.
The cottage is on 2 floors and a cellar. It was built
using traditional materials and is in need of
modernisation. It is not currently inhabited but is
connected to services. Access is via a narrow cobbled street
with parking directly outside. There is a private walled
garden with a little brick shed and steps running down the
side of the cottage.
