Casa
Fonti has a lovely sunny south-facing position. It is set on
a narrow cobbled road along the old town wall of the
medieval town of
Amandola
and commands breath-taking views across the
Tenna
Valley
and up to the imposing
Sibillini
Mountains
.
The house, which was constructed on three levels, is in good
condition having been restored and retains original features
such as the attractive arched cantina,
on the ground floor. It has a total area of
approximately 150 sqm. The entrance opens out onto a room
with a fireplace, cantina and bathroom. This room could be
used as a further living area. Stairs lead up to a small
bathroom and the main, open-plan living area with kitchen
and fireplace. Both fireplaces in the property have been
restored. Further stairs lead to the second floor which has
two double bedrooms, single bedroom and bathroom. All the
floors are tiled and the fixtures and fittings are wood.
The property, which is currently inhabited, is connected to
services and the road is lit with attractive lanterns,
in-keeping with the historic centre.
